About Me

Here's a bit about Amy Vickers:

I have three small children and I live in Aghada, east Cork, with my partner Tom.

I believe having children changes our lives beyond all recognition, giving us all a massive opportunity to grow as human beings so that we can really appreciate our full potential and abilities.

I am passionate about supporting women during their journey of pregnancy, childbirth and all aspects of parenting.

I have been volunteering with Cuidiu for six years; organising events, running the committee, editing the quarterly newsletter, and raising the profile of Cuidiu Cork, among other things.

I am currently engaged with Cuidiu's three-year Antenatal Teacher Training Programme, which will give me a diploma in Antenatal Education so I can share my learning and knowledge with people at the beginning of their own parenting journeys.

Whilst I am training, I am available for FREE 1-1 birth preparation sessions or small group sessions arranged in the informal setting of people's own homes. These sessions, which are beneficial for last-minute preparation for birth, can be tailored towards any gaps in your knowledge, how to approach pain, and resolving any fears about the birth and parenting.

Please get in touch and ask what I can do to help you.

I look forward to assisting you as you progress towards meeting your baby.

Yours warmly,

Amy
